Boy this is a step right into a time warp of History. Each year they have a battle an actor's recreate it. The fort was used to fend off pirates an the enemy. We came here to take in some history along the coast of Georgia. There's a museum with many artifacts an history. Then you can see the old Fort building that was used. Now Logger head turtles lay eggs buried in the sand..Good for school children to learn. It was the war between The French an English.. If ya get a chance visit it. Pretty cheap to visit the fort King George....
